Rolex Cosmograph Daytona Everose gold
At the Planes-les-Ouates foundry in Switzerland, Rolex perfected this compound and unveiled Everose gold to the world in 2005. And the first replica mens rolex watch to use Everose? The Cosmograph Daytona, of course.

Ben: Day-Date eventually got the Everose treatment, but it was an important announcement and it needed a showpiece. The solution to protect the case from toxins and tonal variations is to add platinum to the mix. Platinum is a noble metal that is sometimes found in small doses in white gold watches, but is extremely rare in rose gold. However, it still takes time for this compound to achieve optimal results. The early Everose Rolex watches were just too pink in color, at least to my eyes. Rose gold should have a warmer hue than what Rolex originally achieved.
With time, and constant improvement, Everose gold has seen its evolution. In 2017, while the watch world went crazy over Rolex’s installation of the Oysterflex strap on three yellow gold Daytonas, I was quietly admiring the new Everose. By golly, Rolex did it. It has brought the world a stellar gold case in a fantastic shade that holds its light. It may be that earlier cheap replica rolex watches already had this particular Everose, but only by comparing it to the earlier Everose Daytonas can I be sure that this is a major step forward. Both Omega and Rolex are tight-lipped about the exact proportions of each compound, but Rolex has fine-tuned the mixture and the process with a special sauce.
